EuroMillions is a European-run lottery played in 13 different countries and territories around Europe. Although not all countries are in the EU, such as Switzerland and the UK.
EuroMillions Winning Tiers
Payouts are awarded to 13 different prize tiers over winning combinations. All payouts (except the jackpot) are fixed amounts that do not change from draw to draw (See table).
Biggest EuroMillions Draws
The largest EuroMillions jackpot ever won was on 19th July 2022 to the tune of €230M euros. Currently, the maximum jackpot available is €250M before the euro lottery is capped.
What Happens with No Winner?
If the EuroMillions jackpot isn't won the total will remain until the draw is won and the jackpot will continue to climb until it either is won or meets its maximum jackpot.
Non-Jackpot Winner Chances
In the case that the EuroMillions jackpot is at capacity but no tickets match the required 5 numbers & 2 Lucky Stars the jackpot prize is given to the next tier winning ticket.
Explaining Non-Winners Euros
If the jackpot is at capacity and is not won four draws in a row, the entire jackpot will be divided among the winners in the next tier down that have winning numbers.
EuroMillions Draw Days
This game is played twice a week on Tuesdays and Fridays at 9 p.m. and the draws take place in Paris, France. The numbers are drawn from two rotating drums that hold the designated lottery balls.
