Game Rules - What is BonoLoto?

Bonoloto is a Spanish lottery that first began its life in 1988 in the city of Madrid. Owned and operated by Loterias y Apuestas, Bonoloto was created to be an “everyman” game that could be played every day at a much cheaper cost than other lotteries.

How to play Spanish Lotto Bonoloto

Bonoloto is very similar to Canadian Lotto 6/49. To play Bonoloto, pick your numbers from 01 to 49. In total 6 numbers can be selected. You can also click “Generate” to let us pick your numbers for you!

Bonoloto also has 2 additional numbers that are assigned to the ticket, known as “el complimentario” (The complementary) and “el reintegro” (The refund)

What’s a complementary number?

During the draw, lottery officials choose a bonus number, called a “complementario”, which is relevant to 2nd tier prize winners only. If your ticket matches 5 numbers + the complementary bonus number, you win a second-tier prize.

What’s a refund number?

When you buy a ticket a bonus refund number is added at random. This can be any number from 0 to 9 and applies only to 6th tier prize winners.

When is the Bonoloto draw?

Draws for this game are held from Monday to Saturday at 9:30 pm Central Eastern Time. Each Bonoloto ticket costs £2.40 with All The Best Lottos.

BonoLoto has five prize tiers that you win by matching the numbers on your ticket to the winning numbers drawn. You can win a prize by matching either 3, 4, 5 or 6 numbers chosen or by matching 5 numbers + the Complementary Prize. You must match 6 numbers to win the jackpot. Below you'll find all about the different ways to win, the odds of winning and how to claim any prizes.

The prize you win depends on how many of the winning numbers you match. The table below shows what you need to do to win in each tier, the odds of doing so, and the prize amounts before tax. Your overall chances of winning any BonoLoto prize are around 1 in 10.

How do I check my Ticket?

After the draw, the winning numbers will be announced by the Loterías y Apuestas. This information will be communicated to you through our mailing list. If you have won a major prize we will contact you directly. All results are also available on our website.

What If I've Won a Prize?

If you win a lower prize category this will be automatically credited to your AllTheBestLottos.com account. If you have won a major prize our Support team will contact you directly. 100% of any prize money you win will go directly to you.
