Latest resultsThe History of German Lottery 649
Most lottery websites say that Lotto 6aus49 first started in 1955, but that wouldn't be telling the whole story. First beginning ten years earlier, the game was originally called the Berlin Lottery and was played with 90 numbers. In 1954 the lottery was halted as the name was changed to The German lottery & the odds were changed for the better to a choice of 6 from 49 numbers.
